Production of Music Video - Progress of Music Video

Music video progress

Whilst looking back at the footage shot on our 3rd day of filming , I came up with the idea that we should use the dominoes to illustrate images of sunlight, moonlight and a clock to illustrate time to link it with the song lyrics. I felt we could take elements of the artist singing away and use the domino images to make connections to the song lyrics. 

On Friday , Mary and Amy began editing using the program Final Cut Pro , of the available footage. They began to realize that we may have to re-film some footage and we would have to film more based track footage so we have a variety of different footage to use. As a result of this we may have to use another day to do some serious filming. As a group we would have to arrange availability of everyone's schedule and come up with a day in-which we could film.


Mary informed me that on Wednesday ( which would be our next filming session), I would have to bring a number of outfits with me , in order for us to film me singing the base track in different outfits. My concerns is will we have enough time during our lesson , to do a run through of the base tracks in different outfits. Also, it may look a bit static and look quite dull if we shoot the footage in the same location,having only a black background being seen within the entire video. These our issues we will have to discuss about .

As the deadline for our rough cut is slowly approaching , we would have to come up with a re-filming session quite soon and what we want need to re-film.
