Video Contract Task
In small groups we pretend that we were a small, independent music video production company and create a pitch in-order of producing a music video for a new song. We were given only the lyrics of a song called ' A Rainy Night in Soho' and had to come up with a concept for our music video. In My group we concluded that the artist Shane MacGowan would illustrate a young man fantasizing about the woman of his dreams that he wants to be with. However the girl is unaware of the feelings the man has for her as she is unaware the guy is crushing on her. The whole fiasco would backfire as Shane is already in a relationship and relies that him and his dream girl are just not meant to be.
