What makes a good music video

In class we discussed what makes a good music video and we came up with the following:


Rhythm editing - so the cuts are in sync with the beat of the song
Attractive artist  - people want to see someone attractive which will make them more interested in the artists music
Interesting location
Good message
Choregraphy - people may want to dance along to the music and if there are specific dance moves it makes watching the music viedo more enjoyable
Strong narrative
Fast edits - people want action. They dont want to see long scenes.
Originality - if its not original then its kind of predictable so people will get bored and stop watching.
Tempo - fast cuts are good but you dont want them to be to fast that you cant see it/miss it
Attractive bodies - same with attractive artist it makes people want to see more
